🛖 My 4 Goals for 2023
Hey friends,
This is Admond here, and I'm back after recharging myself from burnout. Yes, I had my first ever burnout due to the long hours of work and stress. 😂
If you're having burnout now, you're not alone. I feel you and I'm rooting here for you. If you need someone to talk to, just reply to this email and let's chat!
Today is the last day of 2022. Before the end of each year, I'd use the goal-setting framework taught by Tony Robbins to set goals in the 4 major areas of my life for the next year. This year is no exception. Here are my 4 areas of goals:
Personal Goal
Career/Business Goal
Adventure Goal
Contribution Goal
In today's issue, I want to share with you my 4 goals for 2023. By sharing my goals with you, I hope to:
Inspire you to dream big and set empowering goals that will move you to action
Keep me accountable by sharing my goals publicly with you
Let's get started! 🚀
🎯 My 4 Goals for 2023
Personal Goal
Connect with interesting people from different areas and expertise.
Chances are you've already heard that your network is your net worth. And I can't agree more with that.
Throughout building my startup this year — from getting connected with clients, finding tech talents to build our product, to getting a warm introduction to investors — I'm convinced that building a strong network is no longer an option, but a necessity.
The ideal network is one where you know the person with the highest degree centrality in each network
When I look back to my major breakthroughs in the past, most of them are attributed to my network who opened doors for me. In other words, it's not "how many people you know.", but "how many people all the people you know, know."
Hence, I make it a personal goal to connect with more interesting people from different areas and expertise and build long-term relationships. I do this by getting connected with one new friend every week using Lunchclub. Feel free to sign up HERE if you're interested!
Career/Business Goal
Make $120,000/year from earned & passive income.
After breaking the figure down, this means that I'll have to make $10,000 on a monthly average. Will I be able to achieve this financial goal? No idea - but I'll probably combine the income from my full-time work and side hustles.
I'll continue documenting my financial journey and make it transparent to you. So stay tuned for future updates!
Adventure Goal
